About The Foundation
The Walrus Foundation is a charitable non-profit organization with a mandate to promote public discourse on matters vital to our country and is dedicated to supporting Canadian writing, art, literacy, and ideas.
To achieve our goals, we have launched four projects. First and foremost is The Walrus, a monthly magazine of ideas, sophistication and wit, and a place where reader, writers and artists meet.
The Walrus is supported by www.walrusmagazine.com, featuring original content and a rich archive of back issues. The magazine is also supported by The Walrus Store, where proceeds go to help fund our ongoing educational mandate.
